DAY 1: PARIS - MUNICH - TOKYO Takeoff for Tokyo on scheduled flights with two hour stopover in Germany. Meal and night on board. |

DAY 2: TOKYO Land in Tokyo mid-morning. Meet french-speaking tour guide. Drop luggage at hotel and depart for initial discoverey of Tokyo, including a visit to the Meiji sanctuary, the tower of Tokyo and the gardens of the Imperial Palace. You will pass in front of Diet Building, legislative centre of power and Akasaka Guest House, residence of guests of the emperor. Lunch in a local restaurant during the visit. Check-in and dinner in local restaurant. |

DAY 3: TOKYO Climbing Mount Fuji: Depart Hotel at 3pm, collect final supplies and catch 6pm bus from Tokyo. Arrive at Mt Fuji Station 5 at 9pm. Climb Mountain and see sunrise from summit. |

DAY 4: TOKYO Descending Mount Fuji: Descend from summit of Mt Fuji to Station 5. Take bus back to Tokyo and return to Tokyo by 3pm, Catch up on sleep. |

DAY 5: TOKYO - KAMAKURA - YOKOHAMA - KYOTO Breakfast. Separate transfer of luggage from Tokyo to Kyoto (pack a travel bag for the whole day). Depart for Kamakura by train. Visit the remarkable historic site and monks: the Hase-dera temple, the Great Buddha, the Tsurugaoka Hachiman-gu sanctuary, the Engakuji temples. Lunch, and transfer to the Yokohama station before boarding the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) bound for Kyoto, the cultural capital country. (Approx 2 Hours passing Mount Fuji at distance). Arrival and greeting in Kyoto, transfer to your Ryokan (Traditional Japanese room with futon sleeping arrangement on floor). Traditional evening with Japanese cuisine and spa. |

DAY 6: KYOTO Japanese Breakfast. Day devoted to the discovery of Kyoto. Nijo-jo (the castle of Nijo, residence of famous Shogun Tokugawa and its splendid gardens), the temples Kinkaku-ji (gilded palace - one of the most unforgettable vision during your stay in Kyoto). Finally, Ryoan-ji and its famous garden Zen. Lunch, before a visit to temple of Sanju-sangen-do (declared a national treasure by the Japanese government and celebrates the Gion district with its traditional character, charming narrow back-streets and elusive Geishas. Transfer to next hotel and check-in. Dinner at the Hotel. |

DAY 7: KYOTO Breakfast. Explore Kyoto at will. Visit Kyoto craft center to buy gifts and join festival by night. |

DAY 8: KYOTO - NARA - KYOTO Breakfast. Board the express train to Nara, one of the major cultural sites in Japan. This old capital is surrounded by timbered hills, temples and splendid parks. Visit site of Nara: Kofuku-ji, of which pagoda on 5 floors became a symbol of Nara; Todai-ji, which shelter a colossal statue of Buddha; Kasuga Taisha Shrine, with its 3000 stone and bronze lanterns. Lunch before returning to Kyoto in the express train and returning to the hotel by subway. Good-bye dinner and sleep at hotel. |

DAY 9: KYOTO - OSAKA - PARIS
Lunch, transfer to Kansai International airport in Osaka, built on the sea. Take-off for France on scheduled flights (with stopover in Frankfurt). Take connecting flight before arrival back in France. |
